Unlike many charities, The Hedgerow Foundation is able to tackle a wide range of issues rather than being restricted to a particular focus area.  To give you an idea of the range of issues we are willing to address, we have created the following summary categories:

PEOPLE – BASIC NEEDS
Includes: Water, Food, Sanitation, Accommodation, Clothing, Electricity
May also focus on: Orphans, The Elderly, The Disabled, A particular village

PEOPLE – MEDICAL SUPPORT
Includes: Clinics, Doctors, Nurses, Medication, Transport, Supplies, Prevention
May also focus on: Specific illnesses (HIV/AIDS), Maternity, Hygiene & Wellbeing

PEOPLE – EDUCATION
Includes: Schools, Teachers, Supplies (eg: books, pens), Transport, Engagement

PEOPLE – MAKING A LIVING
Includes: Training on new skills/technology, New Industry/Market Development

WILDLIFE CONSERVATION
Includes: Protection, Research, Care & Treatment for local wildlife & animals
